Blunting is the new record label from DJ Pitch focusing on releasing his own solo and collaborative productions.

The second offering from the London-based producer and founder of TT (fka Tobago Tracks) and All Centre is “Juan Mecanico/Luis Contadora '', two upbeat, melodic jams in his highly melodic style. Juan Mecanico is a chugger featuring contrasting 4x4 and broken kick patterns that anchor his ambitious sound design and characteristic melodic sensibility. The addition of broken vocal samples, rich chords and arpeggiated harps balance the track's percussive tendencies with moments of tenderness.

On the flip, he ups the ante with jungle pads and a sweet Rhodes chord progression giving way to thumping Jerk-style drums. As the track progresses laser beam percussion guides the listener towards the introduction of organs and horns that fill the sonic landscape.
